Phil Pringle

Pastor Phil Pringle, born in 1952 in New Zealand, rose from humble beginnings as a garbage collector to become a prominent Christian evangelist. In 1980, he and his wife Chris arrived in Sydney, Australia, founding Christian City Church (now C3 Church) in a surf club on the Northern Beaches. What started with a handful of friends grew rapidly, evolving into C3 Church Global—a charismatic movement with over 500 churches in 60 countries, reaching more than 100,000 people. Pringle, now Pastor Emeritus at C3 Sydney, emphasizes leadership development, arts in ministry, and global church planting. A Fine Arts graduate, he has authored books like You the Leader and founded C3 College and Oxford Falls Grammar School. Despite controversies over prosperity teachings, his passion for the local church endures.
